The NC1183 meeting will be held December 3, 2012 in Columbia, MO (University of Missouri, Animal Science Research Center, meeting room 103) starting at 8:30 AM.

A block of rooms are reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites (1225 Fellows Place): phone 573-214-2222. The block of rooms is under NC1183. The rooms will be held until November 16th, University price is $105.00/night for single, double, or triple (may want to find a roommate), they have a great free breakfast.

Driving into Columbia either from Kansas City or St. Louis on Interstate 70, take Providence Road exit south through city until you reach football stadium, turn left onto Stadium BLVD at 3rd stoplight you are there (intersection of Stadium BLVD and College Ave.) if you see the wind turbine you are there!

Information regarding an informal dinner on Sunday and the Monday agenda will be sent separately.

There is a room-block reservation at the University Inn for the meeting, you need to call them at 1-866-881-9676 (toll free) and guarantee with a credit card to get the meeting rate, which is $95.00 plus tax per night for a room with two queen beds, and $89.00 plus tax for a room with a single king. You need to make the reservation by October 5 to get this rate. Tell them its for the NRC1183 meeting (note that there are letters transposed in the name being used by the Inn). The meeting will run from about 8 until 5PM and will likely use University facilities. Once final arrangements are made, Lisa will calculate the (modest) meeting registration fee and communicate to all.
