The annual meeting of SERA41 will be on February 6, 2011, in conjunction with the Southern Section, ASAS annual meeting and during the annual SAAS meeting. The SERA41 meeting will be held at the Omni Bayfront Hotel in Corpus Christi, TX in the Matagorda Room from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Research/extension outcomes by objective will be provided and collaborative opportunities discussed.

The annual meeting of SERA41 will held be in conjunction with the annual meetings of the Southern Association of Agricultural Scientists and the Southern Section of the American Society of Animal Science. The site for the meeting will be the Wyndham Orlando Resort Hotel. The meeting will be devoted to devising a strategy for developing a revised proposal to include more explicitly stated "specific, tangible, measurable objectives, and outcomes." This is in hopes of gaining approval of the activity for a 5-year rather than a one-year period.
