- 12 rooms have been reserved at the University Inn (in the center of campus) in Logan for Sunday (June 18) through WSASAS. This hotel is the closest to where WSASAS is meeting. Their phone number is 435-797-0017 and ask for the WCC/WERA-1 block. They've got it set up a little different, so you'll have to tell them that you want your name added to the existing reservation and they'll take your individual credit card number for your room. They're giving us the government rate which is $60/night. We will be meeting at the hotel on Monday and then touring some operations around the area on Tuesday.

The agenda includes station reports, CSREES and AA reports, business meeting, and a report on the NBCEC parentage project at the Bell Ranch. There will be a tour on June 21 that includes the Brangus breeding program of the New Mexico State University, the Brangus x Limousin crossbreeding project of the F+ Ranch in the Chihuahuan desert, and the Brangus breeding program of Lack-Carson Farms in the Hatch Valley. The meeting precedes the Western Section American Society of Animal Science Meetings June 22-24 at New Mexico State University.
