A block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of June 6 and 7 at the Campbell House (Crowne Plaza), 1375 Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, KY 40504. For reservations, phone 859-519-1315 or go to www.thecampbellhouse.net. Room rates are $89.00 + tax. For those that will be driving, go to the web site for map directions to the hotel; for those that will be flying, the hotel runs a shuttle to the airport--look for their phone located near the baggage claim area at the airport. The block of rooms will be held until April 26. When making reservations, identify yourself as part of the S-1013 Group to get the special room rate. Reservations should be made as soon as possible because Lexington is a busy place during the early summer with all the horse events. The meeting portion of the program will be held at the hotel. This solves major parking problems on the UK campus and meals can be charged to hotel rooms. A "get-acquainted" dinner will be held at the hotel on June 6 at 6:30 p.m. Continential-type breakfasts will be served on the mornings of June 7 and 8 and a registration fee will be assessed to cover these meals. Lunch on June 7 also will be at the hotel via their buffet. The final agenda for the meeting and plans for the tour will be available soon.
