The annual meeting of Animal Science Department Heads will be held January 31 and February 1 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, in conjunction with the 2012 Cattle Industry Convention. Registration will be $55 and includes meeting rooms, breakfast Tuesday morning the 31st and refreshment breaks in the morning and afternoon. You will be on your own for lunch and dinner.

The annual Department Heads meeting is scheduled for Feb 1, 2 2011 in Denver. As usual, we will plan for an all day Heads meeting on Tuesday, Feb 1. On Wednesday (Feb 2) morning some regions will meet to review projects. I have been in contact with the National Cattlement's Beef Association and they were very happy to accommodate our meeting request. The specific hotel is still being determined and will be communicated by Jim Linn (MN) once he knows.
